The Victorian Workhouse!!!!!!!!

On the 26th of June class 3 and 4 went on a trip to the Victorian Workhouse.We got split into 2 groups they were boys and girls.We got changed into Victorian clothes the girl had to curtsy and the boy had to take there hat of and bow .We lined up in the court yard .We had to say what we're called and how old, also why we're here. Then we had a session of handwriting .After we got a tour around the building. We went down some steps that were ever so steep .We sang a so there was no rats it went like ,We are going down the sellers and so on and so on .Then we saw some rooms where the food is stored .After we came up to day light we saw the Masters toilet it made me laugh a bit .We then walked across the hall to the girls dormitory, we tested the bed the were full of hard straw under was a pot where you would do your business .Then we came to the playground and pretended to pour out the poo in the hole .We came back to the main place and got back into normal clothes and played Victorian games .We played hopscotch .Then we played skipping .After was cup and ball the highest score was 80 by Libby Noah came second .Then was hoop and stick .When I had my go I didn't get very far .Meanwhile Charlie got to the hedge which is far Libby was ever so close .Charles got to the end of the vegetable patch .Then we had lunch ,after lunch was the end of the trip as we were leaving we said our goodbyes.
