What's coming up...

Tomorrow we will be having a tea party to celebrate the Queens 90th Birthday. We have all made hats to wear at the tea party which sounds really fun.

Also we have got sports day on 4th of July (9am) on the school field. It's going to be very tiring.

On the 17th of June we have Year 5 girls kwik cricket, also the Year 6 cricket team will be playing on the same day. Both at Caistor Cricket Club.

Then we have the Lincolnshire show, Class 4 are baking biscuits using honey while Class 3 are building some models of bees. Class 1&2 are doing some bee paintings and it's all going into the competition for the Lincolnshire show. Fingers Crossed for Osgodby!

Tennis Success

In Class 3 were are getting ready for the school games after Fergus Downie,Thomas Hunt,May Smith and Lilia Christie came 1st in the school tournament which took place at Tealby Tennis Club. The school games will take place on the 7 July at Grantham and they are more than ready.

The type of tennis they're playing is mini red. This is a smaller area tennis court but not at all easier! Big thank you to top tennis coach Joy Perkiss who taught us how to sever, do forehand and backhand. Mrs Perkiss is trying to sort out a time for the people going to the school games to hone their skills.

Woodland Adventure and The Summer Fete

In class 3 we have been doing a project every Friday, we have been going to Osgodby woods and we have been doing different activities. The first week we did den building where we had to get lots of big and small sticks (twigs) to build a shelter. Then we did some painting with Mrs Wilkinson we had to find leaves and sticks and make holes with the sticks and then you had to use your paint brush like normal! Also we got some mud as our paint then we painted.  


On the first of July it is our Summer Fete, the year sixes make their stalls and year fives get to help the year sixes run the whole event! Last year I bought a puppy teddy and had some cakes and a bag of popcorn. All classes sung a song, I can not remember the song we sung but i'm sure it sounded excellent. Overall I had a lot of fun and everyone else did also!

Outdoors and Gardening Club

In class 3 we have been attending gardening club, most recently we have sent a flower bed design to the Market Rasen Lions, ours was based around a rainbow. We came an astonishing 2nd, because of our achievement we got a box of Celebrations. 

We are all looking forward to the end of year disco!

On the 15 of July we have an end of  term ball. Mr Wilkinson brings his DJ decks, its really fun.
